Products are covered under the following warranty:
Unless otherwise stated, all components of Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation, Inc or equipment for which we publish prices are warranted to be free from defect for a period of 12 months. This period begins from the time the invoice for that unit is generated. Any units found to be failing in either workmanship or material will be repaired or replaced or funds refunded less shipping charges at our discretion. This warranty is limited as set forth above, so that repair or replacement or funds refunded is the exclusive remedy.

All consequential damage to property, loss of profit, or injury to a person is specifically excluded. Without limitation the above warranty shall not apply to items that have failed due to: misapplication, operation exceeding the rated capacities, abuse, negligence, improper storage, improper handling or installation, contaminates, acts of God or Nature. (Credit for returns or replacement is at the discretion of Rocky Mountain Electrical.).

You are responsible for shipping and proof of delivery on all returns; therefore, please retain all tracking information until we ship the new item. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Once the package has been delivered please allow 10 business days for your return to be processed. In order to receive quickest RMA number please call us at 1.800.394.4232. Penalties could result if these conditions are not met.

Items Purchased New:
Most, but not all new purchases are not under warranty according to the original manufacturer’s warranty. It is the buyers’ responsibility to follow up with the manufacturer to determine if a warranty will cover products that we sell. In the event that you buy a new product from us and then it does not work, you will have 30 days to return the product for a full refund of the purchase price. After 30 days we will review the situation, on a case-by-case basis, to determine if a refund or an exchange is warranted.

NEW
NEW products are guaranteed to have never been energized prior to being purchased. We stock factory NEW and New Surplus products, some of which may not contain the original manufacturer’s packaging. Many NEW items are acquired surplus which means they were purchased in bulk from sources other than the manufacturer. All warranty claims should be initiated through RMEA, not the Original Equipment Manufacturer.

RECONDITIONED
RECONDITIONED items have previously been in service but have been rigorously tested, inspected, and reconditioned to meet or exceed the Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications. We have a strong reputation for providing top quality RECONDITIONED products. In most cases our RECONDITIONED products look NEW and always perform as good as NEW, without the NEW price. All warranty claims should be initiated through RMEA, not the Original Equipment Manufacturer
